Online Photo Club

Rules for safe and fair participation.

Club Rules

The Online Photo Club is meant to be a respectful space for people who enjoy photography. Photos submitted to the club should be appropriate for school and for a public website. Members should only submit pictures they took themselves or pictures they have permission to use. Photos should not include offensive content, private information, or anything that could make another person uncomfortable. Accepted file formats include JPG, PNG, GIF, and WEBP. To keep the website working well, image files should be clear but not too large. A good goal is to keep each image under one megabyte when possible.

Members should also follow basic photo club behavior when they vote or chat. Voting should be honest and based on the photo, not on friendship or popularity. Comments in the live chat should be helpful, kind, and related to photography. Good feedback might mention lighting, color, focus, subject, or creativity. Negative or disrespectful comments are not allowed. The club wants beginners to feel comfortable sharing their work, so every visitor should treat others with patience and respect. These rules help the website stay organized, safe, and useful for everyone who wants to learn more about photography.
